Beacon is the mapping application used by Jasper County to make its GIS mapping information and Assessment information available.

Free Search Tools

The Beacon site offers a wide variety of ways to search for a parcel. Name (owner name), Address (property address), Parcel ID and Alternate ID (tax id). Just type in what you want to search for an click "Search". Your resultes will be displayed in a new window.

Basic Free Parcel Information

The basic parcel information is free.

Assessment Data (subscription based)

For a reasonable annual fee (or weekly and monthly fee) you can have access to all the Assessment information Beacon has to offer. A wealth of property and building information from the Assessor of Real Estate;

Free Mapping Information

We have made nearly all of our mapping information available at no charge. At any time during your Beacon visit you can click on the "Map" tab to go to the map view. Along the left is a list of layers. Some are turned on by default. But you can turn on any of the map layers for more information. To view a list of all the map layers click here.

Any layer can be identified (view the basic information for that layer) by clicking on the layer name to make it active, then using the identify tool and click in the map area.
